Welcome to Langton's Ant Project, a distributed computing project for Langton's Ant Cellular Automaton. By contributing to the project, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
Description of Service: Langton's Ant Project provides a platform for volunteers to donate computing power to find new periodic patterns on Langton's Ant Cellular Automaton. The platform is free of charge and the data generated through the project is open to everyone and can be used for any purpose, as long as proper credits are given to Langton’s Ant Project and its volunteers.
User Conduct: You agree to participate in Langton's Ant Project for lawful purposes only and to not participate in any illegal activities or actions that may harm Langton's Ant Project or its volunteers. You also agree not to falsify any data that you compute through the platform, and if you do so, your account may be suspended.
Limitation of Liability: Langton's Ant Project shall not be liable for any errors or inaccuracies in the data or for any damages to your computer or other equipment arising from the use of its program.
Termination of Service: Langton's Ant Project reserves the right to terminate your account for any reason, including but not limited to, violation of this TOS agreement.
Governing Law: This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain and the European Union, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.
Changes to Terms of Service: Langton's Ant Project reserves the right to modify this TOS agreement at any time without notice, and your continued participation in Langton's Ant Project after any changes indicate your acceptance of the new TOS. Last updated 2023-02-13.
This TOS agreement constitutes the entire understanding between you and Langton's Ant Project and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings relating to your participation in Langton's Ant Project.
